Upgrade Dell Inspiron 3500

by Apogiatura / October 24, 2005 2:59 AM PDT

I have taken out the original hard disk which is a Travelstar DKLA-23240. As far as I can tell, not being an expert, the Hitachi 08K0634 should be a direct swap, with a twenty-fold increase in storage.

Can anybody confirm that this swap will work?

Thank you.

2.5" drive should work OK. The Travelstar is an old IBM model name. Hitachi baught out IBM's hard disk manufacturing division. So...

and life goes on...
