"Updating" video card on laptop

Basically the high end gaming machines

allow you to switch graphics cards. By high end I mean ones over or around 2000. Plus motherboard for laptops are universal like desktops. They are designed to fit in the laptop cases and there are many many shapes of Mobo's and laptop cases. It's hard to find 2 laptops with the same exact layout of USB, HDMI, SD card slots. Those slots have to match the case.
