There were 2 scenarios.
1. I was not logged on as Administrator.
2. There was spyware damage to the machine.
Remember the removing spyware, trojans, virus and such does not repair all the damage. There could be PERMISSIONS that are not stock. Also, popup and other blockers could be in place.
Fix? Reload the OS if you can't dissect where the permissions are incorrect. Sometimes there is a clue in the EVENT VIEWER.

During the install of SP2 all the new files are loaded but during the registry update the program stops and a new window appears saying Access Denied. Any idea's?
