Updating Graphics Card

I found a really good deal on a EVGA 01G-P3-1521-KR GeForce GT 520 from Newegg my only problem is that I'm not entirely sure it is compatible with my computer. I'm using a Compaq Presario Sr1620NX which has one PCI Express x16 slot available but the specs for the new graphics card require a PCI Express 2.0 x16. Will it still work?

Yes it will work.

Where is this spec that people are asking if PCIe 2.0 and 1.0 require one or the other? It's quite strange since it was designed so we don't care about that.
