Unfortunately, since you've given us no update numbers or even whether they were Microsoft updates so we could help you find the answer, we can't help much, but you should be able to find the answer yourself. Open up the Control Panel, then the Windows Updates icon, then select "View Update History" on the left. It should tell you the date and operating system/program for which the updates were released.
You can also open the Control Panel, then the "Programs and Features" icon, then select the "View Installed Updates" section. Find the date of the updates and the associated Windows version, or program, and see what you think. By typing the KB number into Google, you should be able to tell whether the update was important.

I just rolled back to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10,and right after I
I logged on for the first time I got a message that I had some updates waiting so I went ahead an downloaded them ,all together there were about 23 of them .,My question is Are these downloads for Windows 10 and if they are Can I delete them ? or are they needed?
