Question

updates on windows 8 or 8.1 timeframe.

Does anyone know how long Microsoft will keep the updates going on 8 and 8.1 operating systems. Will they force us into 10 by not updating? I read that they will ask manufactures to stop making the 7 and 8 systems soon. So where does that leave us on updates?

Answer
I worry about this.

That is, at the office we have some last XP SP3 machines. These are legacy systems and we felt no force to change the OS. What are you saying here? Here the machines are running day in and out. Doing all they needed to.
