Answer
It's sad really.

I've never seen more spam offering SEO advice that misses the mark today.

Most are offering services or worse AutoBots to spam and missing the mark entirely.

Focus on your product, your knowledge of what you offer. Build your business. SEO is sadly, for most sites nothing that will get you to where you need to go.

Anyone who does SEO for a living will tell you: SEO changes very frequently. What works today might not work tomorrow and you need to keep your finger on the pulse if you want to be successful. I looked at your suggestion and well, it doesn't seem to be more than the usual SEO.

The importance of schema mark-up
Jan 15, 2016 9:07AM PST

Doesn't?? lol Well then why don't you 'Google' the opinion of Google on this particular one and you would understand how important it is for SEO. In fact Google has it's own mark-up yet tells everyone to consider Schema mark-up because theirs is not whole. Schema mark-up is coding that helps you highlight what you consider as the most important portions of your content to enable search engines find you easily. Unless all search engines are about to be shut down for good, i don't see how this would become obselete in SEO. I have been using it to great success.

Few fundamental rules have not changed since late 90s
Jan 22, 2016 12:27AM PST

Google was hardly popular even among techies then..

1. Clean and keyword rich content (w/ pics, vids and link-out).
2. Right anchor tags in backlinks (natural only)

There is nothing else an SEO expert needs to focus on.

The only changes in Google algo are 100% natural and improvements. When Google cracks down on black hat techniques, there is an uproar, WHY? Wasn't that natural and should have been seen coming?

PS: Of course the new bells and whistles like social stuff are necessary too.

Panda update
Jan 14, 2016 1:23PM PST

Better still, Google has just made Panda a core part of its algorithm which means it would be paying more attention to quality content than ever before for ranking. Goes without saying that your searchers must find actual value in your content for you to be ranked high.
