Question

Updated Driver for screen, blue screen, cant start my pc

Aug 11, 2016 2:38PM PDT

Hello.
I updated a driver on my computer today, im pretty sure it was a driver for the screen.

When i tried to update it i got a blue screen with the error "Pnp detected fatal error windows 10"

I tried diffrent ways to fix it, including safemode and such.
Eventually i figured out i had to reinstall my windows to fix the problem, so i remove every file and settings and reinstall the computer.
When it was done uninstalling and probarly was about to let me create a user, the error reappeared.

Now i cant boot my computer, because the error keeps popping up everytime i try, and i have no user on it either.

I found some solutions online that might work through the cmd, the problem is i cant access cmd cus i no longer have a user.

Im not sure how far i got in the reinstalling of windows.
I have no recovey points, and i cannot access recovery without a user.

I am at this moment installing windows 10 to a memory stick in an attempt to create a user.

But does anyone have a solution to my problem?
Eventually a way to uninstall this driver?

I have an asus K501L with windows 10 (was originally windows Cool

Thanks in advance

Clarification Request
Windows 10 recovery.
Aug 11, 2016 3:03PM PDT

I use the Windows 10 bootable I made with Microsoft's Media Creation Kit.

Booting that I have refresh this PC and restore options. But creating an new user via this, well, I have done that but for the issue you noted I think you're stuck with refresh or recovery.

--> But Windows 10 does have a SAFE MODE which won't use that driver. If that fails I have to think this driver was very uncool. As in it's a trojan or worse.

Problem fixed

I dowloaded windows 10 to a usb drive, and managed to install windows through the usb. Afterwards the problem was gone.

Booting from safemode did not work, same issue with the blue screen

But this was a driver that i installed in my computers device manager , i just rightclicked "update this driver"
I think this was an intel driver that had something to do with the screen.

Thanks for the suggestions anyways
