windows xp sp3,always tells that updates are ready to install.in fact they are the same ( what can i do to avoid updates repetion.

This happens with Windows Defender a lot.

As an example the KB number for Windows Defender is rarely changed so it looks like a repeat but it's just an update.

Let's hear more about the repetition by which KB number.

The short version is to uninstall and reinstall and if that fails you use the .NET CLEANUP UTILITY.
