Update Utility

Aug 17, 2004 5:10AM PDT

I know that CNET used to have a website that one could go to and it would scan your hard drive and let you know if there were any updates available for your software programs and hardware drivers. Does this still exsist? I know that they were going to take it down for awhile, but I'm not sure that it ever came back. If this is not still around, is there any free program that has the ability to do this? I always found if helpful to know that all my software and drivers were up to date. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

AFAIK that site was never revived. I remember the one to which you refer. I am unaware of anything similiar to take its place.

Sorry!

Too bad. I really liked it.
