You write it happens "every time I try to run Office XP SP3 update." And you write "every time I switch on". That seems contradictionary.
Based on the first sentence, my advice would be: don't run the update if you don't have the CD.

I keep getting this error message every time I try to run Office XP SP3 update.
"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available - Insert Microsoft Outlook 2002 disk".
I have searched every where but don't have this disk. Don't know if I ever did. I have never had a problem with any other updates. I have had the system for four years now. I brought it from Dell - Its a Dimension 5000.
Do I need this update or is there some way of stopping this update each time I switch on?
Thanks,
