Upcomming Episode: Digital Cameras

by GaryInIN / January 18, 2007 11:57 PM PST

My pet peeve with digital cameras is shutter lag, the time between when you press the shutter button (after focusing) and the time it takes the picture. I can't even count the number of times I ended up with a picture feet! What causes this? Are some cameras better then others? Would a different digital media (SD) card make a difference?

Also, what specs do I look for in a camera to be able to stop action? From what I've experienced, setting a camera to "shutter priority" is not enough. My action sport photos, both indoors and out, many times come out blurry.

Thanks for the help. Love the PodCast,

by Micabe2006 / January 23, 2007 4:55 AM PST

I have one quick question for you what type of storage media is better in a camera? Compact Flash or an SD card What are some of the disadvantages and advantages to each media? I also was wondering what you think of the Nikon cameras are they any good?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
