....if the phone isn't specifically Verizon branded, they won't allow you to activate the phone on their network. Doesn't work like GSM carriers (At&t/T-mobile) where you merely swap SIM cards (not talking about LTE SIM cards) between devices.
With Verizon killing off the rest of the unlimited data users (myself and my girlfriend are unlimited data users) the only to get a new phone without paying $700 or giving up unlimited data would be buying a phone from Google (granted it works with Verizon and its about $400)
