Unwanted search site

Jul 16, 2012 1:17AM PDT

Today my Internet Explorer was taken over by Babylon , Ive never heard of them , I tried all methods to get rid of it. I sent a firm email to the home of this babylon thing.
They sent back a very complicated way of getting it out of my system. All most a half page of instructions that looks like a ducks breakfast. I dont suppose there is no other method. I posted in case some else may get caught.

Thanks to all those that responded , I tried several fixes. However amongst my bits of programs , I found this " Search Every Thing" program ,It lists all files in your computer & allows you to delete files after the program has found what you are looking for. My computer contains about 700.000 files & it takes little time to operate.
However , how do I know if its fixed ? , I deleted all the Babylon files to the recycle bin & then deleted then from the recycle bin.. I cant remember the site but Google will find it at no cost.
