Apr 6, 2004 8:43PM PDT

When I first go into my Internet Explorer my screen comes up to the saved HTTP address that I have then all of a sudden I get another full page http site.
How do I get stop that from happening also.....when checking my e-mails I suddenly get an address site poping up. Both are a pain.....

Internet Explorer is a magnet for spyware and other garbage. You can either take the reactionary method, and just making a regular habit of cleaning your system of spyware using AdAware, Spybot and others... Or you can be proactive and stop using IE and Outlook Express because they're insecure (there's still about a dozen confirmed security holes in IE that MS has been sitting on for months) and prone to collecting spyware. Mozilla and Opera are both excellent browsers, Mozilla happens to also have an excellent email client, but there are plenty of others to be had as well.
