Tried Google? Something like "e greetings remove" or "e greetings uninstall"?
After that, even though IE8 may be the safest IE overall, that's still really not saying much given how insecure IE is. Just as an example, IE is the only browser that can be hijacked in the fashion you are experiencing. IE is also the ONLY browser with ANY kind of malware issue period. You would be much behooved to find an alternative, and there are certainly plenty to choose from: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera round out the top 4. Some of the secondary players would be Seamonkey and Flock, which are basically variations on Firefox.
For some unknown reason an application named "e greetings" has substituted itself for IE8. I cannot get rid of it through the standard uninstall methods and the supplier is of no help. I think it found a home when I sent a e greeting card but I am not sure since there was no opportunity to request any add on. I am baffled and very annoyed. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get rid of this insideous junk?
Thanks in advance.
