Unsubscribe from CNET Forums

I can not find the proper page to unsubscribe from CNET. BTW, I thought it was illegal to not provide such.

How do you mean?

There are actually three different things that I can think of:

1.) Unsubscribe from tracked thread notifications, which is what you receive when a new post is made in reply to a thread you have tracked. In that case you may click here.

2.) Unsubscribe from the Cnet newsletters, of which there are many. For that you may click here to change your newsletter preferences.

3.) Terminate your membership here at Cnet. In this situation it is most common to simply stop posting and performing the above since you cannot unsubscribe, per se. You can request that the administration delete your account, though that is not done very often.

Hope this helps,
John

The request has been forwarded...

I forwarded your request for an account termination to our forum administrator, Lee Koo, who will be able to carry out the deletion. Note, however, that it will not be performed until after New Years as he and most others are away for the holidays. Once it is completed you should receive confirmation via e-mail.
