Unstability in HDMI-CEC (simplink) and ARC

by mia31750 / August 25, 2011 5:27 AM PDT

I bought a 42LW5500 one month ago with a BD660 (blu-ray) and a Denon AVR1611. I activate the HDMI control in the DENON and enable ARC and Simplink on the TV. The speakers works perfectly commuting to the amp when powered and TV selected. But the 8/22/11 there is a software update 04.00.18 since I lost the ARC function and Simplink see nothing on the HDMI network. Today the TV detects another software upgrade I hope a correction for my problem and the first time I test the simplink it detects the TV and a Hard Disk Recorder but not the speakers. I try to switch on the AMP (which was in standby) but after a retry Simplink see nothing. It is the current state.

One other point when I change input on the TV (i.e. HDMI->TV) the amp switch from the current source to TV so the link is working but not has expected.

Doe's anybody have ARC working well with this software version ?

But after installing dozens of optical cables I think the industry has failed again.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
