Unsolicited Aero effect

Miskeying sometimes makes the Skype chat window transparent/translucent. I have been exiting and relaunching Skype to restore the normal view. It happens mostly to Skype, but is not confined to Skype. If I knew what the miskeying was, then I could probably reverse it by using a variant of that miskeying. Any ideas ?
