Since web sites can have coding errors this can happen. It's usually not you. Give Chrome a try as well and hope AOL fixes their site.
I have Win10 and use the most current version of Mozilla. Whenever I use aol.com for news updates, I can only scroll down the page very slowly. Inevitably I eventually get an "unresponsive script" pop-up while reading the news and the whole system then freezes, even after I click "stop script". I have tried all of the "fixes" suggested by support.mozilla.org, but none helps. I have a hint that my add-on ReminderFox may be part of the problem, but I need ReminderFox and will not uninstall it. This only happens on aol.com. I have tried Internet Explorer but the same thing happens.
