unpartioning a hard drive

i partioned the hard drive on my laptop so i could try windows seven< i ad my fun with it and now i want to take it off and unseperate my hard drive i have xp on the other part of my hard drive as my main os for now

That can't be done via XP only. You'll need a third party partioning tool. The Gparted Live CD from http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ should work. If not, you can always buy Partition Magic.
