Let me remark that our recommendation, when encrypting something, is to always keep an unencrypted copy in a safe place in stead of on your laptop or whatever it is on.
I'm a journalist and hot chick from Hilton Head Island, lol. I wrote and encrypted the "key findings" of an investigative story I researched in 2011 on MS Word while using a PC and Windows 2010 software.
Since then, I've switched to Mac OS X, transferring all of my MS Word files from my PC to my new Mac Pro.
I've wracked my creative brain to remember my password to the Word doc summarizing the key findings of my investigative research but to no avail. Now, the need is urgent.
Can anyone help? Again, I cannot open the MS Word 2011 document or save it into another software program on my Mac. Thanks for any advice.
