You did not say if it can still take photos.
If it will not take photos, something has happened to the CCD sensor.
If it does still take photos, the CCD sensor is OK but the feed to the LCD is broken.
Either way, it is something you cannot fix.
Your camera should be under warranty.
Contact Sony Repair and see about getting the camera repaired under warranty.
I purchased my Sony DSC-W100 in September, and up until now it has worked just fine.
I turned the camera on the other day, and it started up to a black screen. Now, everything is loaded; I can view my pictures and everything, but the LCD is black when you go to take a picture/video.
The battery is charged fully, so I don't think it is that.
Please, can someone help me. I would appreciate it immensely. Help!
