Windirstat (or a comparable program like TREESIZE) should be right.
So it's time to run a chkdsk from the command prompt or the recovery console. It tells some other things.

My primary drive is 232GB. When in My Computer, it says 57.9 GB free of 232 GB. When I inspect the properties of the drive, I have 174 GB used and 57.9 GB free(consistent so far). However, when I access my primary drive, highlight everything, and open the properties, everything in the primary drive only takes up 83.1 GB. When I use WinDirStat, it says that the primary drive is using 95.8 GB. I am a minimalist and like my drives clean of any excess. Normally I can Google my problems and I can figure it out, but this is so odd. I don't know if my drive actually has 174 GBs used or if it is a "spacer" for some hidden data. I did recently reinstall my operating system and is probably somehow involved in this, but I am no amateur and don't see how this could be. Where do I go from here?
