General discussion

unknown file

I found a file in my documents that originated a week ago when I was doing some music burning. It is called tao and is 740mbs and opens with media forge runtime player. But.... it doesn't open. I would like to delete it , but not knowing what it is I hesitate.
Any suggestions?

There is a site named tao:

http://tao-group.com/

On that site it states at the bottom of the page:

To view this site properly, please Ensure you have the Flash6 plug-in installed.

more familiar with whatever software you are/were using to do your "music burning".

Take a look here http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=TAO

Binchunker in its version 1.52 (currently at 1.7) replaced the RAW extension on its Track At Once image files with TAO.

Suggestions? Don't be so secretive and go ahead and let us know what software you were using and what you were doing in a little bit of detail. Helps any of us to find answers for you.

I am fairly familiar with the software I use. In this case I was using Music Matchbox to record the stuff off vynal to my HD and then used NTi cd maker to burn to discs. I've been doing this for years with mostly this software and I've never come across a tao file.
I am familiar with the track at once method.
The reason I thought the file was associated with what I was doing last week was the size (roughly the same as a disc)
Thanks for the input.
