"Unknown Artist/Album" Folders

I don't want to look for my ripped songs in a folder thats in a folder. How do I avoid or delete forever, "Unknown Artist/Album" folder. I want my songs in the desktop folder I've created rather than having to open 2 or more folders to get to my songs. help - thank you.

In Windows..

Explorer, just drag the songs you want to the Desktop Folder & then you can delete the old folder
