Question

uninstalling old software

by reichorn.mac / June 15, 2015 4:37 AM PDT

What is a good program to uninstall old applications? I have built up a collection of applications over the years- many I no longer use or don't run under current OS. Most don't have their own uninstall option. I would like to get rid of these applications and all their associated files, which I can't do by just trading the application. I'm running OS 10.10.3.

is App Delete.

It is Donationware and does a good job of removing the actual app and its associated software

Ooops, looks like it moved up from Donationware but is still a very reasonable price.

You can find it here: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/23149/appdelete

I've used AppTrap for a number of years and love it. All you have to do is delete an app normally and it pops-up asking you if you want to delete all the associated files.
