Question

Uninstalling CopyTrans Manager

Sep 25, 2011 12:32AM PDT

Downloaded "CopyTrans Manager" to use it with my new iPod Nano8B. After opening the program and plugging in my iPod, was informed that the program was not fully compatible with my particular version iPod. The program will list the music on the iPod and can play the songs, but that appears to be about all it will do.
Now would like to uninstall the CopyTrans program. Tried using "Add/remove Programs" from Control Panel, but "CopyTrans" is not among the programs listed. It is also not listed in my "All Programs" listing (at least not under anything I can recognize. Only place I can find the "CopyTrans Manager" program is by opening my "Downloads" listing. I can right click on the "CopyTrans Manager" folder and hit "Delete", but don't think this would do the job. Can anyone help?

See if this software has it's own Uninstall option.

Either in the Start Menu folder or in the Program Files folder.

I have an ipod Touch and my PC (including copytrans manager) did not recognize the device. I contacted copytrans support and they guided me how to resolve the issue which was something concerning drivers.

It seems that your issue is a bit different, but i would presume that they have an answer for it too if you write them about your problem.

Here is where i found their support email:
