Uninstalling a downloaded program

by dcrap / July 25, 2009 9:42 PM PDT

I downloaded a program called Uniblue SpeedupmyPC 2009 from Uniblue systems. Then uninstalled it from my control panel's program spot. Now everytime I start my PC a window pops up wanting to run this program. When I click cancel another window pops up saying Launcher has stopped working..I click close program. When I go back in the control panel there is no uniblue to uninstall. So what can I do to get rid of this nusance

Maybe easy . . .

You need to install Windows Install Cleanup (Google it) and run it.

Look in Start, Programs, Startup and see if it's listed there.

Download and run Starter by CodeStuff. It'll list programs that start on boot up. If the offender is there you can remove it.

Install CCleaner and run the registry cleaner.
