I'd try the five scans and tools from my post at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&start=0 titled Anti-Parasite Suite first.
I have bigger prybars to eject files such as a move file on boot and the all powerfull Recovery Console, but I suggest using the Anti-Parasite Suite first.
Here's the move file on boot tool -> http://software.magneticpole.com/bootmove/ It's NT based and has been tested a few times.
Bob
I have some programs/files on my computer that have come from either downloads or spyware that I can't delete out. I know I saw a program or article on that somewhere at one point.
One of the files is ystck32.exe. I can only think that this was from installing the yahoo instant message program at one point. I uninstalled and deleted but this seems to not want to leave. :/
Another example was window blinds. I never used the program but it won't let me delete all of the files.
There are also some that I am sure are from spyware.
Is there an uninstaller that will force these files off?????
They are taking up resources and I don't even want them. I am running XP and have only had this problem with this system.
Thanks Themis.
