Uninstall Comodo Firewall

I recently downloaded Comodo Firewall as a replacement for windows firewall but found that it had to many pop ups asking me what to do so I uninstalled it and installed zonealarm firewall and found it was much better. The problem is that when I went to the security centre in XP it said that I had more than one firewall running on my computer so I turn of Zonealarm temporarily and found that Comodo Firewall is still running even after I uninstalled it, can someone help me uninstall it so only Zonealarm is running

Thanks

In reply to: Have a look at this thread.......

baloons and popups. Mine is a time as can be right now, a white face and occasionaly you see flames on the left side and on the right is green lins that show. Right click that icon on the desktop. At the top are two listings, "Firewall Security Level" and the other is "Defense+Security Level" change them to Training Mode. Now there will be big boxes but on the right click there is "Display Balloon Messeges" UNCHECK IT!! TA TA to the popups!! (The Balloon Messages).

you want a firewall that is mroe then windows firewall..

I can't speak to comodo much (just trying it out myself so its in learning mode but it is showing me how much other prorams load other programs..

What i did is programs i know are good i somehow made a "trusted programs" mode (it comes with isolated (can't launch anything and very limited and breaks alot) windows system (not recomended since this might give premissions) and the custom one i setup somehow that is a trusted program but can run other programs)

Now i get one popup for programs to load and one for firewall.. programs i trust are waste to whitelist.. programs i don't... well there are none on my computer like that

Fixed

In reply to: Have a look at this thread.......

I fixed the problem, heres what i did

1. stop the WMI Service
2. delete the "repository" folder in C:\windows\system32\wbem
3. start the WMI Service. Starting the service rebuilds the deleted folder and the database.

Thanks for your help
