Uninstall Adobe 3.0 not working thru Control Panel

by pathwitheart / January 7, 2010 5:57 AM PST

Is there an alternate way to uninstall a non-microsoft program on my HP mini? Will not let me uninstall either standard nor advanced, not does the repair option work.
this mini, although new, has a pretty slow processor. I've adjusted all settings for best performance.
I am running win 7

Delete the Adobe 3.0 directory in the program files directory. Then delete the shortcuts. Look up REVO UNINSTALLER and CCLEANER and use those for both uninstall and CCLEANER's registry cleaner and hope you don't kill it.

We only lose what we didn't backup.

your suggestions saved the day--that Adobe was stubborn. Had to go through the path check off to get all the nooks and crannies.
Ironically, it was all to get a proper reinstall into the new Mini. Which went as it should.
I really appreciate your help.
thanks again

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
