Uniblue Registry

Apr 20, 2008 10:41AM PDT

Hey guys,
I got a trial version of something called Uniblue Registry Booster on my new laptop. I ran the scan and it says I have 169 problems but it will only fix 15 unless I buy the full version. Now on sale for $29.95.
Has anyone ever heard of this program and how trustworthy is it. Or is it a waist of time?

I look unkindly to "Trial Versions" that find lots of things but then you must pay to fix them. That too often is used as a "come on" to sell merchandise.

I have no knowledge of Uniblue Registry but am skeptical. Maybe a Google search will help is making a decision.

If there are errors can you share what's the symptom? Or is it just asking for money?

Not busted

Nothing is busted. I just keep getting the message from Vista that this program wants to run. And after running it it tells me they are very concerned about my registry and want money.

If it's not busted

then I would also distrust this product. I would uninstall it.

find 400+ errors. And - most of the times - nothing fatal happens if you don't do anything about it, because these aren't serious errors at all.
So I wouldn't mind at all for this 169.

Better uninstall the program and let your registry as it is.

Uninstall the program and move on.
