I have come across something like that after doing updates to my computer. That file should be safe to delete. If it is still being used by the computer, you will not be able to remove it. You can do a security scan of your PC to make sure that it did not do anything bad to your PC.

I noticed a new file created less than a month ago called "defeb6d573a4f4c31c14f2673dad2f". I cannot access any of the files it contains. It is 15MB and contains 115 items mostly .dll format, some in word format and a few in various other formats. I scanned this file with my anti virus software and it came out clean.
My computer is about 2 years old, but I recently returned to all factory settings (maybe about a month ago).
I want to know if I should be concerned with this file or if I should delete it.
Thanks.
