Underwater digital camera??? What do you recommend

Can anyone give me some recommendations on what digital camera is the best for snorkeling? Looked at the Pentax Optio WPi, but seems like the pictures aren't that great also looked at the Sony DSC U60.
I?m looking for a camera that is waterproof, I don't want to get a camera that needs a separate underwater casing and that isn't bulky.

Underwater Cameras

There are very few cameras that are rated for underwater (without a special housing).
And these are only rated for shallow dives (less than 10 feet deep).

If you want to dive deeper, you have to use a special housing.

You might look at the newly announced Olympus Stylus 720SW.
