Question

Unconsistant battery usage

Feb 28, 2018 11:26PM PST

I don't really know how to ask this question in the correct manner. So please bare with me.
I have a Samsung galaxy s5 which works fine, however on random occasions the battery can drain very fast, but on other occasions stays charged for ages.

For example yestarday I was using my phone to browse the Web for an hour or so and it only used about 2% battery. However today I have used the Web for about half an hour and already it has used 10% battery.
All apps have been closed and smart manger has cleaned up the ram.

What might cause this to randomly use much more battery than before.
I must say most of the time the phone battery is fine but
ven turning this off dosent help the situation.

Thanks for any advice.

If you are browsing pictures/video/sound files it will use more battery power and more data vs. reading text only.

Not solved but something to consider

However. Just in standby the battery usage is higher not only whole being used
It would seem if I let it run out of battery before I recharge it. That seems when the battery is at its best.
By thanks anyway
