If the error says "SYSTEM31" instead of "SYSTEM32", then I would have to say you have some sort of infection. Please post in the malware forum.
I have a Dell E520 running Windows XP Home SP3, with Norton I.S. 2010.
I noticed an entry in Norton Internet Security that keeps appearing every time I perform a "restart" of my computer. The entry appears in Norton's Security History list, and indicates that C:\Windows\System31\services.exe was blocked from accessing \Device\HarddiskVolume2\ProgramFiles\Norton Internet Security\Engine\17.5.0.127\ccSvcHst.exe
Does this indicate a problem with Windows System 32 or with
Norton I.S.???
Your help will be appreciated.
