But if I were to guess you encountered some HDD errors and need to copy out your files, zero the drive then create partitions, format them and copy the files back in.
If you can't copy the files out, use your backup copy.

Opened gparted to make changes to my partitions and got the error:unallocated partition invalid partition table on /dev/sda wrong signature 5954
I am able to run fdisk and smartctl if more info is needed
Would like to fix without having to format drives !!!
