Unable to shutdown properly, can't delete messeges

Hell
I cannot properly shut down my computer. I also have continous PACKAGER and CALC error messages in UNKNOWN everytime I boot up and get to my desk top. How can I correct all of this?

2. The other issues could be typical spyware or other OS damage. Try the Antiparasite Suite I noted at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&messageID=15002
