Server port number

is the correct one? the type of security authentication? Is the login name the same or the full email address as stated by your provider? Did you set it to be the outgoing mailserver to use for sending (unless that's the only email account).

Sorry I don't understand what you mean? What do you mean by "is the correct one?"

Thanks for your help!

In reply to: Hi

I meant the server port. Did you enter the correct server port number? Some email provider uses 993, 995 for example.

Your ISP should provide directions on their website for how to set up Outlook. Outlook can be tricky to set up. Especially for sending, and especially for ISP's that like to play games with sending email like Cableone.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
