Resolved Question

Unable to run Product key finder

Sep 16, 2014 1:46AM PDT

Hi, I am having to rebuild my laptop (Windows 7) as it has too many serious issues including no network but do not have a product key. I have tried downloading magic Jelly bean and various others from another pc and putting them on a usb stick but as soon as I try to install them they all want to connect to the internet which I can't do. Any help would be much appreciated.

My recovery disks don't work and I have nothing else.

Three reasons for that:
1. Bad disks --> order new ones.
2. Bad drive --> clean or replace or use external drive
3. BIOS not set to boot from drive --> go into BIOS setup and set it

You don't need a license key. It's on the recovery disk.

If you don't get your W7 going, try a free linux.

distrowatch.com for lots of info on them.
