Question

Unable to receive mails

Dec 13, 2012 3:31AM PST

I'm using Live with my Hotmail account but have a problem which I just can't seem to fix.

I don't receive mails from people if I have not mailed them first. Their mail looks at their end as if it is sent but it is not in my Inbox, Junk mail or any other folder. If I mail them and then they reply I do receive the email.

Does anyway know what I've done wrong as I keep missing important mails.

thanks

Not in Junk either

if I understand correctly these instructions are to define what mails should go to the Junk folder and what can go to the Inbox. Mails from people who I have not mailed are not arriving anywhere.

Then as a test.

Find the WEB MAIL interface and see if it's there. Stop using the email app for awhile and see if the email shows up on the WEB MAIL version. I don't support Windows Live and don't know which email server you use so my answers must be generic.

But that's how I figure it out. I also help too many move off Windows Live Mail. It's not that good.
