Question

Unable to play M4P protected audio

Apr 8, 2018 2:57PM PDT

I have a bunch of songs I bought years ago during the DRM era of itunes that I can no longer play because they were bought under a different apple id. I don't even use itunes anymore I simply want to listen to songs I purchased. No converter or even burning to a CD removes the authorization hold and I cannot access the old apple id because it does not exist anymore. There has to be a way to do this. Anyone know how? I'm at the end of my rope with this bs

Many of the protected audio systems died years ago with many warnings plus instructions on how to remove the protection. The story here is incomplete so I can't tell how these came to be protected and if you missed the window of opportunity and now are about to jump out that window.
