Unable to play Audio after Video Capture

by JLsound / May 18, 2005 6:30 AM PDT

Sony DCR -TRV38
Dell Dimension 8200 Desktop
Pentium 4 2 Ghz
Windows XP SP2
Pixela Image Maker
USB connection

I can successfully capture and record video from the Camcorder, However, when I play it back, either in the Image Maker software, or Windows Media Player, there is no sound. I have tried adjusting the volume on the Camcorder, and Media Player/ImageMaker. I can play audio and other videos from different sources. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
JL

The link is to a local help file for Pixela and explains where to set the audio source (the usb camera connection.)

It is possible to hook up via the sound card, but that could be stressful for some.

Thank you for your help. I did have the wrong audio source set. Went to the dropdown menu and chose USB. After recapturing, everything turned out fine.
