Unable to logout of sites - need help!

I recently had to install a new hard drive with Win7 operating system. Since then, I have noticed I can't log out of many sites. The problem seems to be getting worse, and magnified after I installed Adobe Flash 11. That's when I also kept getting a popup window all the time asking if a site could store info on my computer. I clicked the Local Options button in Adobe, and chose never store. Could this have anything to do with not being able to log out of many sites?

I've not been able to find anything on the Internet regarding this particular log out problem, but I feel this could definitely be a security risk. I'm not a computer expert, so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
