Let me see if I can explain this properly.
I recently purchased a game called Stubbs The Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse. I bought this as a direct download so no CD or anything like that (I always lose them lol) I install and everything works splendidly up until a certain point that continuously crashes the game every time like clockwork. I went to find the 1.01 and 1.02 patches which were quit a bother to find by the way (lol ^_^) and when I Dclick the .exe to install them the windows installer pops-up, begins the file prep and then says that it cannot find where Stubbs is installed on this computer.
I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling and reinstalling etc etc. I think it might be a registry error? somehow windows doesn't have its location on file. Is there a way to either tell windows HEY!!! Its over here! or manually direct the windows installer to let me show it where it is located rather than have it look on its own? (I do think it is a registry, because isn't that how patches find their respective programs?)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't uninstall and reinstall anymore, I'm down to 1 more DL before I have to rebuy..
