1. Remove the firewall appliance.
2. Configure the firewall appliance.
3. Try another OS environment- LiveCD- to see if it is a hardware problem.
I am not able to open the following browsers: IE and Opera. I can open Firefox however. I have received the following diagnostic info: HTTPS: Error 12029 and could not make an HTTP connection. Also no DNS servers.
I also received the following diagnostic info: HTTPS: error 12031 - could not make an HTTP connection. The all started when I installed CA Security group which is offered to subscribers of Insight Communications in Columbus, Ohio. I feel that some or all of the problem is that I cannot release or delete the firewall from CA Security. I turn off the FW on my installed program but it still reads that the CA firewall is still active. I have an HP desktop - Media Center PC m7330n with Windows Xp Professional SP3, AMD Athlon 64x2 dual proccessor, 2.19 ghz.1.93GB of RAM. On top of this I am not able to preform a systems recovery either.
Can anyone help?
