Unable to install some older software

Whenever you get a error look in the event viewer - the error message may have taken you to this page.

Another fix some have used is to do a search for autoexec.nt You will probably find a copy of it in C:\WINDOWS\repair. Copy and paste it into C:\WINDOWS\system32.
