Unable to get the Buzz since 3-09

...using either Lemon or iTunes.
Same computer, same network/firewall/virus program configurations. No changes on my side. What's going on? it just stopped downloading.

Nothing on my side has changed.
This is the equivalent of DEAD AIR if BOL were a radio show.

You can always head over to:

From there, you can manually download each episode. To download previous episodes, simply change the date in the address. Yes, its a pain, but if you need your BOL fix, you can quickly get it from that page.

There is also an earlier thread that has a preview for the new BOL page, as soon as that goes live you should be able to simply stream each episode.

Also, Google Reader allows you to stream the feed and episodes.

Can you imagine that anyone sending out a podcast asks their listeners to modify the HOSTS file? I have looked in my HOSTS file and found no entries for DW.COM or i.icom. I am glad that this worked for you. However, since so few seem to be affected, I am getting used to the idea that I am in the minority and will get lost in the noise. Enjoy the BOL show. It is the best of its kind. However, manually downloading the show or listening to it streaming to me is so 2003. Luv Tom, Molly and Veronica and not getting your show is truly a loss for me. However, the problem is on CNET's side. I can see where the problems started by looking at Juice 2.2. Unfortunately, only a few people are affected and we are prioritized to the bottom of the list.

Hey now, you're not prioritized at the bottom. I had a conversation with Brook this morning (she handles the tracking for the podcast) and she's taking all the feedback form the threads here and some very helpful email we got with error messages and looking into it.

I *know* the problem originates with our tracking, but also we know that since it doesn't affect everyone the same, that the problem exists in how the tracking intereacts with certian other elements. Determining what those elements are and why they behave that way is the key to fixing the issue.

Let me emphasize that we're not trying to point the finger and blame others. But it is essential to gather as many details as possible to figure out how to get it fixed. So all the feedback of ISPs and hosts files and what works and what doesn't is extremely helpful.

Don't abdnon us just yet, we want to figure this out.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
