Cellular data connections pale in comparison to most WiFi hotspots and of course, broadband. For example, sprint seems to drop connection every hour. My thought is they don't want to get folk used to gaming or long downloads over cellular.
Why must the tablet be tethered if it causes a failure?
Bob
My Nexus 7 tablet is tethered to my Gateway desktop. I'm trying to download Avast on my desktop but the download fails every time.
I have tried downloading other things as well as using a different browser; nothing works. I also tried running both browsers as an administrator.
I have no idea how to fix this. My attempts at searching Google for a solution have been to no avail.
My desktop is running Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit.
My Nexus 7 tablet is WiFi, no carrier. I'm using PdaNet+/FoxFi to tether.
My computer is a Gateway All-In-One.
I use Firefox. Also tried using IE.
All software is up to date.
If you're able, please help ASAP!
